The classic triple room with 2 windows and antique furniture, as for instance. Magnificent location right by the train depot. Based next to the Diamond Belle Saloon, Durango, the centre of town.
Beds were old.

The Strater Hotel showcases the charm of a historic building. Its old-world ambiance, even if the room was on the smaller side. The service was attentive, though the furniture could use a bit more comfort. A good place with good food and character!

The hotel feels like a time machine back to the 1800s, every room tells a story. And the staff, they were friendly, like you could talk to them for ages.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but worth every penny.
